Back in the day, this is what we listened to:
Say what you will, I still like it! Call me sentimental, call me a child of time forgotten, call me Dave, whatever!
Tonight, I have been thinking a lot about the place I was born and raised (for the most part). South East Alaska has to be one of the most virgin (yes, that is the best adjective) places on this planet! Despite the fact that the cruise lines are there throughout the 'nice' weather months, she is still pure as the driven snow. Wouldn't it be awesome to be back there at that time where you were happiest? Maybe high school in your home town was not it, but it sure seems like it when you are 36 and looking back! On the other hand, I married my high school sweetheart, and I can go 'back' any time.

Nice testimony. Yeah, I'm a very reminiscent person and quite often review the past... while trying not to dwell on it too much. Many lessons to learn from all the goings on down through the years.
I bet you have some cool memories from Alaska. I probably wouldn't be able to endure the extreme weather, but I often wish I could experience the raw, outdoor qualities.
I envy your ability to go "back" any time.
Thanks for sharing, Child of Time Forgotten.
I'm not hugely fond of 80's music... but it's not unbearable :) I watched the whole video because it told a cool little story.
Ah, back in the day that it was hard to tell guys and gals apart from the back :)
Wow. I can't say that I've ever heard that song. I missed most of the 80's music due to the fact that I didn't yet have my own radio. Lame huh. I had to suffer through country music most of the time.
