This is a really encouraging sight. It reminds me that work is being done, people have jobs, and children are getting food. (That last part is especially important to me; I have been hearing a lot of child abuse and neglect news stories throughout this recession.)
I suppose one could ask why in the world construction of new buildings is taking place when others sit vacant. This type of inefficiency is likely a contributing factor to the mess we are currently in. I'm mindful of this.
I'm choosing to point out the positive. Think about it, there are probably a number of positive things in your environment each day. Do they go unnoticed? Or are your eyes looking for signs of encouragement? When things return to good, will you be among the last to enjoy the turn around? You probably will if you are not looking for good things to happen!
